NycArtsCypher has pop-up piano at Sing for Hope’s Event on Staten Island



(July, 2011). The NycArtsCypher collaborated with Sing for Hope and pianist, Charles Bruij, plus local artists, Athena Zhe, Geoff Rawling, Gano Grills, Wolfman, and Diana Sorkin at Tappen Park in Stapleton. There was also a special performance by the teens from the Cypher Cyndkit program. Shout out to our sponsor, KCM Plumbing & Heating Corp.
NycArtsCypher collaborates with the South Beach Civic Center to honor Keith Cummings and Ray Kelly.



(June, 2011). The South Beach Civic Center honored Keith Cummings and the New York Police Department’s Commissioner, Ray Kelly, this month. The NycArtsCypher was able to provide artistic entertainment for a number of children who were in attendance. Celebrity facepainter, Athena Zhe, also contributed to this exciting collaboration.
NycArtsCypher’s M.U.R.A.L. program beautifies new construction site with grafitti for ‘The Clove’ at Clove Lakes Park on Staten Island.
(May, 2011). Last month marked the unique mural collaboration between the Club at Clove Lakes Park and the NycArtsCypher on Staten Island. The mural was designed by professional artists working with teeenagers selected from the NycArtsCypher’s MURAL Program, which gives youth an outlet to practice graffiti art in a positive manner. The base palette was proved by Dennis Mckeon and Where to Turn. The mural can be seen at 982 Clove Road. A special thanks to the all the press coverage for the event:
